Bart's Space Movie Review

A powerful businessman wants to build a highay through the forest. One of the town's most evil character, Mrs D'Abondo, loves the idea and orders her husband to cut down the trees.  Everyone must flee... But Furi and his friends don't intend to give up so easily. From the start I found this film to be a Graphical Disaster with a story to match. The main Characters (The Gophers) reminded me of a" Pepto Bismol explosion " "Blue and Purple!!!" I mean seriously!!! I know the writer is alowed to take certain liberties, but that to me is ridiculous even for an animated film. Second and probably the Most Glaringly obvious thing for me was "The Mouths and voices weren't synced right. the characters would say a line, then the lips would move and the jaws and mouths were not animated very well, Most noticeable on the human characters. Finally the Story was very weak and simple "Animals trying to save their forest from development from a greedy business tycoon" I MEAN WOW I'VE NEVER HEARD A STORY LIKE THAT BEFORE?!!! UHM...Can You Say Furngully?!!!So If you want to have a laugh at an abismal attempt at a children's movie, then this might be your ticket, Otherwise, I wouldn't even bother.Overall Rating 1/5 Stars

Bart's Space Movie Review

Seen on 4/14/12

Perseus braves the treacherous underworld to rescue his father, Zeus, captured by his son, Ares, and brother Hades who unleash the ancient Titans upon the world.

I thought this was as good as "Clash Of the Titans" It introduced some new gods and was a lot of fun. The only thing I disliked was "The Shaky Camera Movement", other than that it was Sweet!!!

Bart's Space Book Review

4 of 5 stars
Read from March 26 to April 02, 2012

I thought this was another Heartfelt emotional roller coaster ride about a woman whose live seems to be put through the ringer until she meets a man who is going to change her existence in ways she'll have never thought possible.

It to me was a story about the pitfalls and struggles of life as well as redemption and a second chance.

I think we have all been there at one point or another in our lives where we feel like we're at our lowest point and then completely out of the blue an angel or angels come to lift us up and ease our burdens and struggles.

It's a wonderful story that will make you laugh and tug at your heartstrings.

reviewI really thought the Author did an amazing job of capturing the reader from start to finish. It was fun to watch as Nexa (the protagonist) in the story developed. From the very start She had a determination and a drive to change whatever situation she was confronted with and she has a furious locality to people she befriends along the way

it was an amazing adventure that takes the reader to beautiful lands and seas that they'll never forget.

I can't wait to read book 2!!!

Bart's Space Movie Review

When a group of hard working guys find out they've fallen victim to a wealthy business man's Ponzi scheme, they conspire to rob his high-rise residence.

The first thing I have to say about this film is it was slated to be a "comedy" well I found myself not really Laughing through most of it, yes there were a few funny part's scattered throughout, But for the most part It was a very serious film.

I did like that they had 4 star actors namely Ben Stiller, Eddie Murphy, Mathew Broadrick and Alan Alda

Overall an OK film with a mostly predictable ending.

Bart's Space Book Review

My rating 4/5 stars

I really enjoyed this collection of short Stories They were very vivid and I loved the positive message that each one contained. I Liked "Four Simple Words" where this wife was having a really hard day and her husband was more concerned about his "Big Job promotion" than he was about her, In the end However he realized that all it took was "Four Simple Words to let her know that he cared about her far more than some Job.

The one that Really stuck out to me was "The Dream" where this kid had a dream where he was standing in a line outside his bishops office and when he got inside the savior was there and he got to look into his eyes and how thankful he felt for what the savior had done for him.

I simply loved this book and found it to be a very uplifting and wholesome read.

Bart’s Space Book Review

Thunder Dog: A Blind Man, His Guide Dog, and the Triumph of Trust at Ground ZeroThunder Dog: A Blind Man, His Guide Dog, and the Triumph of Trust at Ground Zero by Michael Hingson

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I thought this was an amazing story of trust, faith love and tremendous courage told through the heroic experience of a courageous man and his faithful canine companion as they trans versed out of Tower one" Of the World Trade Center on 9/11.

It also helps I believe to break down barriers and misconceptions of not only the blind, but to anyone who has had struggles or trials to overcome in their lives.

I think the one quote that sums up how I felt after reading this is by the great Marty McFly from "Back to the Future" who said "If You Put your Mind to it you can accomplish anything."

I also felt like I gained at least little better perspective and understanding of what it's like to be Blind in a predominately sighted world.
