Bart's Space Movie Review

A teenager finds herself transported to a deep forest setting where a battle between the forces of good and the forces of evil is taking place. She bands together with a rag-tag group characters in order to save their world -- and ours

From the Start I felt that this film was going to be a rousing fantasy adventure that would take me somewhere I've never been and in the end just "Leave me wanting more and wondering what's next", But Sadly despite the pretty amazing visuals, characters and world "The Story just didn't do that for me."

It quite Honestly felt like a rehashing of "Ferngully the Last Rain forest" where the Fairies (Leaf-men) Protect the forest from the villain Hexus(Mandrake)from being destroyed.

Bart's Movie Review

 Seen on 8/6/13
The Evil wizard Gargamel is "Up to his old tricks again" this time conjuring up smurf clones called Naughties to kidnap Smurfette

I Thought this Movie was weak from the start "Weak Plot, Same tired theme song with a different local thrown in and a new human character added to the mix. Now I Love cartoon movies i;e Most Disney Animated movies and some Fox ones, but "You have to have an Engaging story and it just wasn't.

So they should've stuck to making just the one and called it good.

Bart's Space Movie Review

A look at the relationship between Mike and Sulley during their days at Monsters University -- when they weren't necessarily the best of friends.

From the start I knew I was going to be in for a treat, Because with a name like Disney/Pixar  How can You go wrong, To me it's a virtual Impossibility.

Having said that, This Monsters Outing was very well done, The backstory I felt really Iliastrated the feeling of how it is being the new guy and the way their precieved by their peers.

I  also loved the introduction of the new Monsters and well as a reintroduction of Fan Favorites which I felt added real depth and dimension to the world that the director and writers were trying to create.

I Honestly can['t find anything wrong with this Movie, Other then to say "It was a fun trip"

Bart's Space Movie Review

The events leading up to the sword fighting cat's meeting with Shrek and his friends.

I thought this film was a pretty enjoyable romp into the backstory of how Puss became the boot wearing feline that we see in the "Shrek Films" I also found it funny that the reviewer who rated it on Internet Movie Database Said "That He felt "There are instances of real invention here. The first is the setting, which is sort of a medieval spaghetti western, although the western card was played better in "Rango".

Um...Dude Rango was meant to be more of an "American Western" whereas this was set in Mexico, So it's more Of a "Mexican western". I do have to admit however that if they were going for more of a "Western Feel" the "Overall Plot" kinda threw me off a bit".

But the Story was fun and had good action and pacing to it.

Christmas 2012

Hey Everyone,

I had an amazing Christmas this year and the Best Part was I actually got visit from "The Jolly Old Elf" Himself" Yes that's Right I'm talking about Santa Clause, HE ACTUALLY MADE A PERSONAL VISIT TO MY HOUSE!!!!

I was BLOWN AWAY!!!!  I think the only slight downside was I felt like the time spent with the extended family was "Cut a little Short" But in Hindsight I actually got to spend time with all 3 of my aunt's uncles and cousins on my mom's side so it worked out.

I HOPE EVERYONE ELSE OUT THERE HAD AS GREAT A CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS AS I DID!!!!

SEE YA CHRISTMAS 2013

Bart's Movie Review

Seen on 12/13/12

A curious Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, journeys to the Lonely Mountain with a vigorous group of Dwarves to reclaim a treasure stolen from them by the dragon Smaug.

I really enjoyed this movie, not simply just for the fact that I read the book, but also for me it "Brought the Lord of the Rings experience "Full Circle"  for those who have not yet viewed the "Lord of the Ring's Trilogy" I won't say any more than that so as not to spoil it.

The Only slight thing that I disliked, was that some parts, mainly in the beginning, were a little" slow-sided," But other than that it was great.

Bart's Space Movie Review

A jaded former jockey helps a young girl prepare a wild but gifted horse for England's Grand National Sweepstakes.

I thought this Movie was pretty decent fare with a solid, but semi-predictable story coupled with acting that for it's time was tolerable and cute, but living in the 20th century, for me it was like eating an "Overly Syrupy pancake" in that it was "TOO LACED WITH SUGARY SWEETNESS IT WAS ALMOST GAG WORTHY."

So Overall if you want to travel back to a simpler time and don't want a "Plot Heavy Movie" than this is the film for you.
