Johnny English goes up against international assassins hunting down the Chinese premier.


I thought this movie was a very funny second installment in the "Johnny English Movie duo. I do have to say that if your not a "Bean fan" or into 007 then this might come off as a bit of a head-scratcher, But for me it was great!!!

Bart's Space Movie Review

Eight years on, a new terrorist leader, Bane, overwhelms Gotham's finest, and the Dark Knight resurfaces to protect a city that has branded him an enemy.

I thought this movie was a little slow to build up to the action at first, but once it got going It was very intense. I thought the new Villain Bane was one of the darkest villains I've ever encountered.


I also really enjoyed Ann Hathaway's performance as Catwoman it was a nice revamp on the Semi-campy performance of Pfeiffer.


Now on to Alfred, Michael Cain's  performance was much deeper than  the other films in that he felt more like a parent rather than just merely trying to Shelter and feed Wane.


 on to the vehicles........psych!!!! I'm not going tell, cause that might Spoil the movie.


It's just an Incredible film, that dropped my jaw and left me yearning for more, which to me is exactly what a film should do.


Overall rating  4/5 Stars  "Amazing in Imax!!!"

 

Bart's Space Movie Review

Sean Anderson partners with his mom's husband on a mission to find his grandfather, who is thought to be missing on a mythical island.

From the start I viewed this film as one of those where "You turn off your Brain and just relax" Because if your going into this one with too high of expectations, you'll be sadly disappointed.

Because this is a Fun Film that at times will have your eyes rolling and gut-busting as you get pelted with one "One-liner after another"  For Example: ( Vanessa Hudgens) Kailani: What was that? (Luis Guzmán) Gabato: It's a scary noise in a dark cave. Keep moving...

I also Loved the Rock's Version of the Ray Charles Classic "What a Wonderful World". 

Overall it was a nice remake of a film that was already pretty far fetched in it's own right.

Bart's Space Movie Review

In an effort to tap into his original talent, a wheelchair-bound author moves to a rural town, where he befriends a single mother and her three kids, who help reignite his passion for writing.

I thought this was an amazing Story, with a main character very well portrayed by the great Morgan Freeman. I really felt a connection to him, first, his Struggle to "adapt" to his new life and Second his Struggle to unlock the "Imagination" within himself.

I too have faced Similar circumstances especially when I see the world I reside in crumbling around me, Being devastated by fire and the honesty of people being tested over and over.

 It makes me grateful for the friends/ Family that have come into my life and ts what I believe this Story is all about, That by just being a friend to someone who maybe has lost his/her passion or drive you can help him/her regain it, so they in turn can spread the joy to others.

The Only slight downside I found with this was that the pacing was "Slow" other than that It was a wonderful film.

4th Of July 2012

Hey everyone,

I had another wonderful Fourth, It Consisted of a great breakfast of pancakes w/ caramel syrup, eggs, a biscuit and a blueberry muffin, Which unfortunately  I ran out of room in the old breadbasket for.

Then later we had a water fight, which I wouldn't really classify as a fight because everyone was primarily playing water-balloon volleyball, so I did most of the shooting, However, once I joined in with Chris to play water balloon volleyball I guess " All Bets were Off" because I found myself soaking wet by the end and "IT WASN'T FROM THE WATER BALLOONS.

But Water Balloon Volleyball was way fun and I think I'll compete in it from now on.

Now on to Dinner we had fantastic Hamburgers and my Grandma made me her yearly Macaroni Salad and My aunt made her Orange Jello Salad, Both of which were Fabulous!!! and to drink we had Homemade Root Beer Yum!!!

Finally to the Fireworks they were pretty good, but due to the fire danger they were way scaled back.

SO OVERALL ANOTHER GREAT 4TH!!!

Bart's Space Movie Review

A powerful businessman wants to build a highay through the forest. One of the town's most evil character, Mrs D'Abondo, loves the idea and orders her husband to cut down the trees.  Everyone must flee... But Furi and his friends don't intend to give up so easily.From the start I found this film to be a Graphical Disaster with a story to match. The main Characters (The Gophers) reminded me of a" Pepto Bismol explosion " "Blue and Purple!!!" I mean seriously!!! I know the writer is alowed to take certain liberties, but that to me is ridiculous even for an animated film. Second and probably the Most Glaringly obvious thing for me was "The Mouths and voices weren't synced right. the characters would say a line, then the lips would move and the jaws and mouths were not animated very well, Most noticeable on the human characters.Finally the Story was very weak and simple "Animals trying to save their forest from development from a greedy business tycoon" I MEAN WOW I'VE NEVER HEARD A STORY LIKE THAT BEFORE?!!! UHM...Can You Say Furngully?!!!So If you want to have a laugh at an abismal attempt at a children's movie, then this might be your ticket, Otherwise, I wouldn't even bother.Overall Rating 1/5 Stars  

Bart's Space Movie Review

Perseus braves the treacherous underworld to rescue his father, Zeus, captured by his son, Ares, and brother Hades who unleash the ancient Titans upon the world.

I thought this was as good as "Clash Of the Titans" It introduced some new gods and was a lot of fun. The only thing I disliked was "The Shaky Camera Movement", other than that it was Sweet!!!
