Bart's Space Movie Review

Seen on 4/14/12

Perseus braves the treacherous underworld to rescue his father, Zeus, captured by his son, Ares, and brother Hades who unleash the ancient Titans upon the world.

I thought this was as good as "Clash Of the Titans" It introduced some new gods and was a lot of fun. The only thing I disliked was "The Shaky Camera Movement", other than that it was Sweet!!!

Bart's Space Book Review

4 of 5 stars
Read from March 26 to April 02, 2012

I thought this was another Heartfelt emotional roller coaster ride about a woman whose live seems to be put through the ringer until she meets a man who is going to change her existence in ways she'll have never thought possible.

It to me was a story about the pitfalls and struggles of life as well as redemption and a second chance.

I think we have all been there at one point or another in our lives where we feel like we're at our lowest point and then completely out of the blue an angel or angels come to lift us up and ease our burdens and struggles.

It's a wonderful story that will make you laugh and tug at your heartstrings.

reviewI really thought the Author did an amazing job of capturing the reader from start to finish. It was fun to watch as Nexa (the protagonist) in the story developed. From the very start She had a determination and a drive to change whatever situation she was confronted with and she has a furious locality to people she befriends along the way

it was an amazing adventure that takes the reader to beautiful lands and seas that they'll never forget.

I can't wait to read book 2!!!

Bart's Space Movie Review

When a group of hard working guys find out they've fallen victim to a wealthy business man's Ponzi scheme, they conspire to rob his high-rise residence.

The first thing I have to say about this film is it was slated to be a "comedy" well I found myself not really Laughing through most of it, yes there were a few funny part's scattered throughout, But for the most part It was a very serious film.

I did like that they had 4 star actors namely Ben Stiller, Eddie Murphy, Mathew Broadrick and Alan Alda

Overall an OK film with a mostly predictable ending.

Bart's Space Book Review

My rating 4/5 stars

I really enjoyed this collection of short Stories They were very vivid and I loved the positive message that each one contained. I Liked "Four Simple Words" where this wife was having a really hard day and her husband was more concerned about his "Big Job promotion" than he was about her, In the end However he realized that all it took was "Four Simple Words to let her know that he cared about her far more than some Job.

The one that Really stuck out to me was "The Dream" where this kid had a dream where he was standing in a line outside his bishops office and when he got inside the savior was there and he got to look into his eyes and how thankful he felt for what the savior had done for him.

I simply loved this book and found it to be a very uplifting and wholesome read.

Bart’s Space Book Review

Thunder Dog: A Blind Man, His Guide Dog, and the Triumph of Trust at Ground ZeroThunder Dog: A Blind Man, His Guide Dog, and the Triumph of Trust at Ground Zero by Michael Hingson

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I thought this was an amazing story of trust, faith love and tremendous courage told through the heroic experience of a courageous man and his faithful canine companion as they trans versed out of Tower one" Of the World Trade Center on 9/11.

It also helps I believe to break down barriers and misconceptions of not only the blind, but to anyone who has had struggles or trials to overcome in their lives.

I think the one quote that sums up how I felt after reading this is by the great Marty McFly from "Back to the Future" who said "If You Put your Mind to it you can accomplish anything."

I also felt like I gained at least little better perspective and understanding of what it's like to be Blind in a predominately sighted world.

Bart's Space Book review

The HelpThe Help by Kathryn Stockett

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I thought this was a wonderful book about some pretty remarkable women and the management of their Households and lives. Now I know that this was mainly told from the point of view's of the maids, I really found a particular interest in Mrs. Smith who was the main homeowner in the story.

In her first few years of having maids she seemed always"Vexed" if a situation wasn't handled right, Such as dinner not being cooked to a certain "standard" and would sometimes go through at least two or three maids a week until she could obtain the right one and her dutifully faith full husband would be right there to offer his support and advice to validate her, "Unless he was out of town on business.

As the story progressed However there were times where she was left as the one who ended up doing the chores and Housework and after just two days she would be completely spent and then want more help to come crawling back to aid her.

In the end I think it was Mrs. Smith who learned a valuable lesson when she was finally able to learn to "treat others how they would want to be treated" and that in turn gave her a happier more well adjusted home life.

Now I will most likely never come into a very large amount of money like Mrs. Smith had. I just believe that a life is best lived by serving and loving people over oneself and the gain of "material" things.

And that I believe Is the main core focus in this book.
